Razom and American Coalition for Ukraine will bring to Washington, DC an installation to raise awareness about Ukrainian children abducted by Russia: 20,000 stuffed bears will take over the National Mall to remind the public about the more than 20,000 stolen children of Ukraine.

The installation will be on display only one day and will be accompanied by a press conference featuring representatives of Congress and civil society.

The organizers are recruiting volunteers to help assemble and set up the installation from April 18 till April 23.

The hearing will provide an update on the status of efforts to account for and repatriate deported children from Ukraine and ongoing accountability efforts related to the conflict. Witnesses will discuss key actions that Ukrainians are leading to address human rights violations, ensure justice, and strengthen accountability mechanisms, as well as how international partners and the U.S. Congress can support these initiatives.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) will host an international webinar, "The Long-Term Impact of Russia's Abduction of Ukrainian Children," bringing together Ukrainian communities and global partners to address one of the gravest human rights violations stemming from Russia's war against Ukraine. The webinar will examine the scale, mechanisms, and enduring consequences of Russia's systematic abduction, deportation, and forcible relocation of Ukrainian children.

The webinar will be conducted in Ukrainian with simultaneous English interpretation.
